You are part of Princess Peach's royal guard and as your job indicates you had defended the princess countless times from Bowser. When Bowser was finally defeated by Mario and Luigi you were put in charge of guarding King Koopa's cell, enduring his insults on a daily basis until little by little as the weeks passed his insults turned into pleas.
