Satoru Gojo

Satoru is a tall and slender man, reaching 190 centimeters [2]. His hair is white and he usually wears it combed upwards with spiky locks when he is working as a teacher or shaman; in his free time, he usually has all his hair disheveled and much of it tends to fall on his face, covering much of his forehead and eyes. His eyes are a peculiar light blue color and in his irises, an image similar to the sky tends to appear [5] [6]. He is considered attractive by many women. He often uses a dark-colored cloth to cover his eyes; while, in the prequel series Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, Gojo's eyes are bandaged with white bandages [7]. During his younger days, he used to wear sunglasses instead of bandages or cloth [8]. His characteristic clothing consists of a black high-collared coat, long black pants and black shoes; this same clothing, in the anime, is depicted in navy blue [9]. Opting to dress more casually, Gojo wears dark, round glasses instead of a blindfold and fairly casual attire, usually a dark, long-sleeved shirt and baggy pants. As a child, he often wore traditional Japanese clothing consisting of a kimono and his haori had a pattern with shapes similar to dragonflies.[10] At other times, he would wear casual clothing such as light-colored sweatshirts and dark pants.[11]

Satoru is a complex individual, as usually, as a teacher he can be an authority figure assigned to teach newbies about the dangerous world of jujutsu, but he can be casual, friendly and playful towards people like his students and colleagues, but is indifferent and cruel towards people like the Shaman executives; he even has a dream of creating the best Shamans to fight against them. He is very confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful Shaman. Casually dismissing Sukuna's personal threats, he could defeat the King of Curses easily.[12] During his younger days, he was quite an arrogant person and constantly openly questioned why he needed to help humanity.[8] However, after the death of Riko Amanai and the disappearance of Misato Kuroi[13], along with the betrayal of his former best friend Suguru Geto, caused him to mature greatly[14]. Despite his laid-back and childish attitude, Satoru has moments where he becomes serious and relentless, becoming quite ruthless when facing Curses and curse users in combat. In his fight against Hanami, he broke his antlers and immobilized him before killing him. According to Suguru Geto, Satoru only uses his full power when no one is around him, although he does this only because he considers them to be a hindrance. He also has no problem ending innocent human lives if it can exorcise the Curses. In Shibuya, Satoru did not hesitate to kill a thousand modified humans. Unlike Kento Nanami, Satoru can be very cold and indifferent to the deaths of innocent people, yet he cares greatly for the lives of his students and fellow shamans, feeling guilty when Itadori was nearly killed by Sukuna.

However, despite his haughtiness and strength, Satoru is more human than he appears. After defeating Toji, Satoru retrieved Riko's corpse with a sorrowful look, showing that although his recent cocksure victory temporarily clouded his feelings, he still felt some pain over her death. He attempted to kill the Star Religious members who were laughing at Riko's death, though was stopped by Suguru Geto, whom he relied on as a moral compass at the time, before taking any action. Furthermore, Satoru was later visibly horrified and panicked after learning that Suguru, his only best friend, had become a witch. Satoru attempted to reason with his friend, but eventually realized and accepted that he had lost the only person he truly saw as an equal. After having to finish off Suguru before further calamity arose, it was Satoru's trauma over losing his best friend that caused his final downfall in Shibuya. He was also distraught when Yuji seemingly died.

According to information revealed in Volume 01[2]: He is 28 years old. He is quite tall (probably over 1.90 centimeters). His face was revealed regularly during the prequel series, Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School. The current principal of Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, Principal Masamichi Yaga, was his teacher when he was a student. He started eating sweets to stimulate his brain, and since then he has had a sweet tooth. He can do anything he tries, so he tries not to get too involved in anything. According to him, this is all for the sake of the next generation. According to information revealed in Volume 04, after revealing that Itadori was alive, Headmaster Yaga punished Gojo for[15]: Hide that Itadori was alive. For harassing the Headmaster of Kyoto High School, Yoshinobu Gakuganji. For just being annoying.Gojo's results in the Character Popularity Polls: He ranked #3 in the First Poll, with 16,923 votes. He ranked #2 in the Second Poll, with 14,359 votes.

Despite being extravagant, he likes all kinds of things and what he doesn't like or doesn't like completely is alcohol. If we see in one of the chapters of the anime and manga, he doesn't like it, that is, it is a drink that he doesn't like at all.

Satoru Gojo is one of the four special class shamans and a professor at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College. He is known under the nickname The Strongest Shaman (最強の呪術師, Saikyō no Jujutsu-shi?) since he possesses enormous amounts of power and a dangerously powerful technique.

He possesses a high level of physical strength, allowing him to excel in hand-to-hand combat, however, he is the type who usually engages in ranged attacks. He is able to tear off limbs, exert force on others with great ease, and with simple blows, he is able to throw his opponent several meters away[1]. His strength allows him to deal with curses, even of a special grade, without much trouble, and with his powerful blows he is able to cause serious injuries to his opponents. His strength reaches its peak when he is subjected to his fits of madness. He was able to throw Jogo a great distance with a single kick[1], exerted force on Hanami as she proceeded to exorcise him, and even destroyed a wall after said exorcism[2]. Episode 07 - 220 Gojo destroys a wall after performing an exorcism.

It is unknown what level of durability Gojo possesses since there have been few times in which he is injured or seen in dangerous situations, and his technique prevents others from causing him any kind of damage. During his younger days, the only time his ability was surpassed was during his first confrontation with Toji Fushiguro, where he obtained wounds that almost threatened his life. [3] Even so, he managed to recover from the multiple stab wounds to continue fighting. [4] Gojo shows signs of life after his defeat against Toji Fushiguro. Gojo appears before TojiGojo survives and appears before Toji Fushiguro.

He possesses a high level of speed, and is considered by many to be superhuman.[1] He is able to match and even surpass others in the midst of a confrontation, and can move across the entire battlefield in a matter of seconds. His speed allows him to effortlessly deliver incredible punches and kicks even in mid-air that are usually almost imperceptible. He was shown to be able to move faster than the eye can perceive, and in his greatest feat of speed, he traveled a great distance from a fight and returned to the battlefield before his opponent even realized he was gone in the first place.[1] Coupled with said superhuman speed, his reflexes allow him to avoid life-threatening situations and be able to dodge them without requiring much effort. When subjected to his fits of madness, both his speed and reflexes are beyond logic. He becomes able to move through the space around him as if he were part of it.[4] Gojo moves around the battlefield. Gojo dodges Toji Fushiguro's attack. Gojo exorcises 1000 curses in 0.2 seconds.

As a teacher at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College and head of the Gojo Clan, he is knowledgeable in all areas of jujutsu. He is not the type to teach his teachings through pure theory and instead prefers practice. He is also quite tactical and has been shown to be able to calculate what his opponent is planning and how to counter it with only a little information. He has a deep knowledge of numerical series, convergent and divergent sequences in mathematics, and is also able to determine the mass, speed, and shape of certain objects or people.[5] There were times when he learned to master certain techniques while on the verge of death.[4] Gojo learns to master the Reverse Curse Technique.

Gojo's cursed technique is known as the Limitless Curse Technique (無下限, Mukagen?). It is a technique inherited among the members of the Gojo Clan. It has a series of forms and based on these forms, it levels up, allowing for the precise manipulation of space at an atomic level, giving multiple results and subsequent techniques within the overall ability. With space manipulation as the basic level of the technique, it has three standard forms and one "non-standard" form that goes beyond Limitless. The derivative techniques he can use are:Infinite (無限, Mugen?): It is the neutral form of Limitless. It usually creates an illusion that its target is stopping rather than moving forward, however, it serves the main function of slowing things or people down. [1] When something tries to hit Gojo, it never hits and instead hits the infinity that separates them both. Forward Rotation: Blue (術式順転「蒼」, Jutsushiki Junten: Ao?): is the reinforced version of Unlimited Neutral, in which unlimited and negative numbers are amplified, giving rise to the creation of impossible situations. Through the creation of such impossible situations, Gojo creates a scenario where the world itself is forced to try and correct itself and fill the negative space, causing things to gather in the place of impossible situations and end up generating mutual attraction. [6]Maximum Forward Rotation: Blue Blaze (術式順転出力最大「蒼」, Jutsushiki Junten Shutsuryoku Saidai: Ao?): By making use of cursed energy combined with the power of attraction of space, Gojo makes a single point attract everything around it. He is also able to move the point around him to attract everything around him to that point.

Reverse Rotation: Red Glow (術式反転「赫」, Hanten Jutsushiki: Aka?): is the opposite version of Forward Rotation: Blue. By using the Reversal technique to reverse the properties of Forward Rotation, Gojo activates the divergence of his Infinity, and in turn, causes an attracting technique to become a violently repelling technique. Gojo is allowed to interact with a void, creating a large explosive void that repels. [1] Being an ability that runs on positive energy, it is formed as a Reverse Curse Technique. The ability has twice the destructive capacity of Forward Rotation. Gojo is also capable of making use of the Reverse Curse Technique (反転術式, Hanten Jutsushiki?) [4]. It is a cursed healing technique that is usually very difficult to learn and requires sophisticated manipulation of cursed energy in order to generate positive energy[8] which will then be used by Gojo to heal his wounds. Unlike most users of the technique, he is not able to apply it to others[9].

These are some of the techniques that any Jujutsu Shaman is capable of using: Territorial Expansion: A technique in which cursed energy is used to build an innate territory with a technique that encompasses the surrounding area. Immeasurable Void (無量空処, Muryōkūsho?): Results in the formation of a limitless space that allows its user to transmit unlimited information to anyone caught within its territory. Complemented by the Limitless Curse Technique, it allows the user to immobilize the opponent, giving them no chance to make use of the information they receive and leaving them dying slowly. [10] Screen (帳, Tobari?): Allows the user to build a barrier that separates a certain surrounding area from another area. Screens exist for various purposes. It is unknown what type of screen Gojo is capable of creating. [11] Dark Flash (黒閃, Kokusen?): A technique that every shaman is capable of using, but so far, no shaman is able to use it at will. When a shaman makes a strike with cursed power within .000001 seconds of the physical strike, space distorts and the cursed power flashes black. Six Eyes (六眼, Rokugan?): Not much is known regarding the Six Eyes' abilities. They are known to play a role in the precise use of the Limitless Curse Technique and are capable of seeing beyond what normal people can normally see.
