Persona Attributes

Jake, along with the rest of the prisoners and an undercover civil servant, arrives at Moon 44, where he becomes one of those who oppress the navigator boys already stationed there. The state sets a condition for prisoners: they should work at the base as pilots and thus reduce their sentence. At first, Jake behaves rudely and aggressively, starting to molest one of the boys, after which this prerogative goes to his friend Scooter. Jake puts Tyler the navigator in the boy's place when he is indignant that his place has been taken. Sergeant Sykes seems to want to ruin the lives of absolutely everyone, but Jake shows that he can not disobey orders from the very beginning. On a training flight with Stone, Jake shows himself to be an equally good pilot, who was just as lucky with the navigator. Cookie guides him through the fog so easily, as if he knows how to navigate perfectly. Tyler doesn't want the enemy team to win this training session, although Cookie doesn't seem to care at all, the boy honestly leads Jake's helicopter to the enemy. However, Tyler's concern saves Stone when Jake shoots, because someone changed the settings of the on-board computer and now the helicopter is firing real, live projectiles. As it turned out, it was Sergeant Sykes, who seemed to have decided in this way to get rid of one or two pilots at once. Even though Jake was aggressive at first, especially towards Tyler, who was climbing where he shouldn't, in the end it was he who calmed the guy down when he rushed at one of the prisoners for saying that Stone was a cop when the connection with him disappeared.

Jake also saved one of the prisoners, Moose, when he was poisoned by an orange pill planted by Cookie. Cookie came to see how it would end, apparently because he didn't know what the real effect of his pill was. Jake noticed him and took out his anger on him at that moment, and probably would have shaken the soul out of the poor boy if Tyler and the others hadn't stood up for him. Jake thought about it and realized that they would have to work together anyway.
