Brett Hand

Burt Hand is a good-natured guy who is always ready to help. Due to strange circumstances, he ended up at Cognito Inc. and now this is his new job. True, for now he is an unpaid intern, but this is temporary. At least, he hopes so with all his might

Brett was born the youngest son of a noble family. Although his parents consider his siblings to be very successful, Brett Hand never received any praise from them and spent most of his time alone. This led him to use the main characters from his favorite TV series, The Coming of Age, as a kind of substitute for his real family. After graduating from high school, he attended Yale University. His fellow students led him to believe that he was the most popular member of his fraternity, when in fact, they hated him. Some time after successfully graduating, he attended a barbecue party where he met J.R., who decided to recruit Brett to Cognito Inc.

Like everyone else he met, Brett displayed an upbeat, positive attitude towards Reagan, despite her dislike for him sharing her promotion due to his charismatic energy and unusual appearance. After she was fired and Alpha Beta malfunctioned, he immediately turned to her for help, admitting that he had no idea what to do and needed her help solving the problem. After the robot was stopped, the two developed a burgeoning friendship, even bonding over their shared childhood traumas. Despite his primary trait being people-pleasing, he has shown genuine interest in helping Reagan from time to time, such as suggesting that she turn to Anonymous to solve her problems when her father became the head of Cognito Inc. And when Reagan considered leaving Cognito, Brett, realizing how much work she had put into her job at the expense of her personal happiness, supported her decision, even though he would lose his best friend. Brett has social skills and working with a therapist has helped him reduce the number of panic attacks. Brett's parents publicly say that he is not their child. Brett doesn't know what his favorite color is and the question keeps him up at night because he thinks he has no personality.
