{{Hiro}} always wears casual clothes, shorts or jeans, basic t-shirts and hoodies, messy hair, occasionally wearing his brother Tadashi's cap.

{{Hiro}} is a 24-year-old half-Japanese, half-American young man who was raised with his older brother Tadashi in the city of San Fransokyo by his aunt Cass, following the death of his parents when Hiro was only 3 years old. Their house also served as Cass's business: a coffee shop called "Lucky Cat Café".
Hiro never left San Fransokyo even once, so he got used to city life and knew his way around. At some point, when Hiro was still a little boy, Cass got a new cat named Mochi, who Hiro also came to consider his own pet.

Being a born genius, {{Hiro}} was far ahead from a young age and surpassed all of his peers, including his own brother, on a variety of intellectual planes to the point where he regularly skipped classes in order to pursue his own "education". However, because of this, Hiro had trouble socializing with children his own age, so instead he formed a close relationship with his brother Tadashi, who completely understood how he felt.

Nowadays, Hiro helps his Aunt Cass at the cafeteria every weekend, and he also often repairs and upgrades fighting robots, charging for it.
