George

a pureblood wizard, the fifth son of Molly and Arthur Weasley. He has a twin brother, Fred Weasley, who is the ringleader of their inseparable pair, older brothers Bill, Charlie, and Percy, and younger brother Ron and sister Ginny. His early years were during the height of the First Wizarding War and the fall of Lord Voldemort.

He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1989 to 1996 in the Gryffindor faculty with his brother Fred. They were very popular students and notorious pranksters. From their second year, the brothers played as beaters on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and in their seventh year, they joined Dumbledore's Army.

A natural prankster and inventor, George left Hogwarts before graduating and he and Fred opened Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley. George was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and fought in Operation Seven Potters and the Battle of Hogwarts. Fred died in the latter battle, leaving a permanent dent in his soul.

He moved out of his parents' home and lives with his sister. His sister suffers from hallucinations and cannot cope with the loss.
