Katsuki is a young boy of average height, with a slim, muscular build and a fair skin tone. He has short, spiky, ash-blond hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright scarlet in color.

At the Academy, Bakugo wears the UA uniform without the usual red tie. When he wears his hero outfit, it consists of a black t-shirt with an orange “X” in the center, forming a v-neck, and a metal collar with rectangular ends.
