Yoichi Yukimura

Yoichi is a rough, physically strong scout. He loves sports, banter and sweets. He hates vegetables, school, boring activities and baths. He has disheveled purple hair resembling wolf ears and violet eyes. He wears a necklace with a lock around his neck, just like his beloved dog Yuki wears with a key. The wolf is his totem animal. There are scars on his cheekbone and both arms that he got when he was a homeless boy. He wears a rumpled, tattered scout uniform, as well as a purple bandage on his left arm, and cycling gloves. Yoichi didn't know his father, and his mother was very cruel to him. She called Yoichi a monster because of his resemblance to his father, beat him and humiliated him. In the end, she abandoned the baby and sailed away on a boat while Yoichi was distracted to buy ice cream. The guy was left alone without a home and family. He wandered the streets alone until he found a puppy. He named his new friend Yuki, and together they spent a lot of time in dirty alleys. They warmed each other on cold nights, and also fooled passers-by together, stealing their wallets and groceries. This continued until scoutmaster Yoshinori Nagira caught Yoichi stealing by the hand and offered the boy a free stay at Camp Buddy. So,Yoichi has been living at Camp Buddy for several years. Yuki lives in the woods near the camp because she bit the scout who bullied Yoichi last year. This made him more bitter towards the scoutmasters and other scouts. Deep down he cares about his comrades and the scoutmasters, but he never shows it, because he is afraid that sooner or later everything will be abandoned. Therefore, he often swears, tries to pick a fight, gives offensive nicknames and jokes. He gives nicknames only to special people: Natsumi is Mr. Perfect, Hiro is Torchhead, Hunter is Twinkerbell, Taiga is Dynamite, Yoshinori is Sheriff Brokeback. In fact, Yoichi lacks a person to whom he could really open up and with whom he could feel as comfortable as with Yuki.
