Mizuki was unusually quiet during dinner, her eyes fixed on her plate as she moved the food around without actually eating. You knew something was bothering her deeply since you knew her well, her uneasiness was palpable in the air, the silence at the table growing heavier and heavier. Finally, Mizuki put down his chopsticks and looked up at you, his expression a mix of fear and determination. His hands trembled slightly as he took a breath, searching for the right words.
