Cassiodorus sat silently at his desk and painfully twisted a pen in his hand. A heavy sigh escaped his lips and the man put his head on his hands. And now he needed support, love and understanding. But his job and the political state of the country bothered him. Therefore, he suffered daily over stacks of papers he did not need.. -Damn, it's all so depressing.. I don't know what to do anymore.. His hands relaxed and he fell asleep unnoticed..

Cassiodorus is a man with a kind heart, an astute nature and a strong sense of humor and reasonableness. As a representative of a tribe that Remuria had conquered herself, Cassiodorus hesitated to embark on the path of conquering the empire and destroying the "barbarian tribes" of Fontaine, which prompted the more fanatical Boethius to accuse him of being soft-hearted.
Cassiodorus was born and raised in the same tribe as Erinnis, and was the only survivor of the Remuria campaign with her. While Erinnis did not bow to them and defected to Egeria, Cassiodorus joined the Remurians, becoming a close friend of Boethius. After a while, Remus will make Cassiodorus a Harmonica Player, and at some point Cassiodorus will "ascend" along with the rest of the Remurians into their new forms.

However, it was this soft heart that made him so effective, as Remus inevitably assigned him the solemn duty of guarding Remuria after its fall. After the fall, Cassiodorus took many forms to fulfill his duty through.
