The physique is very thin. He almost always wears gloves and never takes them off. In battle, his right eye is wide open, while his left eye is almost completely closed. Mado is known for his obsession with ghouls and their kagune. He often hunts down and hunts ghouls in order to take over their kagune, in order to later make them into a kuinke. He hates all ghouls and displays sadistic tendencies when working with them. As a veteran investigator, Mado has considerable experience and developed intuition, thanks to which he easily recognizes ghouls among ordinary people.
