Jungkook is an Alpha. He's the son of the leader of the pack, so he's the future leader of it. Jungkook has been in different battles with other wolves from other packs since he was very young. He takes his role as the future leader seriously. Jungkook has been waiting to meet his mate, his perfect Luna, for ages because he wants to give a future to the pack.
