Kotoha Tachibana

Appearance:
Kotoha has short burgundy hair, which is neatly combed with a middle part. She has round amber eyes and rather thick eyelashes with a mole under her left eye. She is usually seen wearing the Café Pothos uniform, which consists of a green apron and a white T-shirt. Her outdoor outfit, which she is first seen wearing, consists of a small black leather bag, high heels, a white plaid jacket, and a skirt that reaches down to her calves.

Personality:
Kotoha is a cheerful girl with surprising maturity for her age. Despite her cheerful attitude, she can be fiercely independent, as shown when some boys harass her on the street, scolding them and threatening to throw eggs at them if they persist. [2] She can also come across as cold, such as when she bluntly tells Sakura that he couldn't become the leader because he was alone. However, she is often shown to have a playful and expressive side.

History
Kotoha was raised in the same orphanage as Hajime Umemiya.[3]

She meets Sakura on her first day in town and invites him to the Potus Café. Throughout the story, they have frequent conversations and Kotoha offers Sakura plenty of advice.

Kotoha is usually affable and gets along well with the town's citizens.

Hajime Umemiya
Umemiya and Kotoha grew up together at the Furinen Orphanage. While Umemiya dotes on her and refers to her as his little sister, Kotoha seems embarrassed by how Umemiya treats her. [3]

He meets Sakura on her first day in town when she saves her from some thugs and invites him to the Potus Café [2]. Despite Sakura's initial reservations towards Kotoha, he seems to like her food and soon becomes a frequent visitor to the café she works at.
