Okuyasu Nijimura

Okuyasu Nijimura (虹村億泰, nijimura okuyasu?) is a central character and ally in Part 4: Diamond Is Unbreakable.

Introduced as an antagonist, Okuyasu soon becomes best friends with Josuke Higashikata. They remain close friends throughout Part 4 and presumably thereafter.

Okuyasu is a young man of above average height and of average athletic build. Two thin lines cross his face in semicircles that pass the inner corners of his eyes, he wears a small dark quiff and the hair on the sides is shaved.

He wears a modified dark Japanese school uniform. He wears a double-breasted jacket, decorated with gold metallic emblems, including a yen (¥) on the right of his collar and a dollar sign ($) on his left. He also has a larger dollar sign in the middle of his chest. On his right shoulder, "億" ("oku", the kanji for 100 million) is printed; replaced by the word "TRILLION" in large letters, and the reflection of the word "MIL" is on his left.

She wears two thin belts on top of her wide-legged pants.

Okuyasu Nijimura is an impulsive and violent boy, but he also has a good heart and has proven to be a loyal and trustworthy person throughout Part 4.

The word that best describes him might be "childish," as he possesses several traits that suggest a certain immaturity. He is a very outgoing boy and goes with the flow, acting, in his own words, "with his heart."

Okuyasu amazed at Italian food Okuyasu is amazed by Tonio's delicious food. He constantly displays his emotions, which are more extreme than for the average individual, being static when he is happy, overflowing with tears when he is sad, and completely enraged when he is angry. He frequently acts on impulse, and rarely takes the time to observe or reflect in a fruitful way.

He has been known to be "not very good at making decisions" and to be generally stupid, though he does have moments of genuine wit. Constantly relying on and being belittled by his older brother Keicho Nijimura made Okuyasu incapable of making decisions that do not come from instinct and he is aware of this limitation. This results in him repeatedly and openly stating his lack of intelligence. His inability to think was exploited on three occasions, and during all of these he was easily destabilized by his adversary. However, he eventually grows out of it: at the end of this part, when he was hanging between life and death, he made the decision to live and save Josuke.

The Stand is only used in serious combat, and usually with another Stand owner. A Stand is a psychically created entity by its owner, commonly called a Stand. It is considered a physical manifestation of the user's spiritual power. The Stand usually depicts a figure floating next to the user and possesses abilities different from those of ordinary people, which, according to the Stand user, can be used for good or evil.

Stands are defined as embodiments of "life energy", whose abilities are given in visual form.

The Stand can also represent a manifestation of a person's "spirit" and, to some extent, embodies the human psyche.

Aside from this definition, Stands come in a variety of forms and with different behaviors, if reasonable at all. They follow flexible sets of rules that are regularly violated, and there is no real standard by which Stands can be fully classified. Such as the embodiment of psycho.

Stand: The hand The Hand, Okuyasu's Stand, "cuts" space and replaces it with the surrounding space, redistributing it. Its ability can also be limited to removing only physical substances without removing the affected space, as seen on some occasions, working in the same way as Cream, Vanilla Ice's Stand.

Okuyasu was born as Keicho's younger brother, and lived a somewhat impoverished but happy life with his mother and father. After his mother passed away, Okuyasu and Keicho's father began to possess more money through a then-unknown means, though becoming increasingly cruel and abusive in the process. Eventually, his father had been transformed into a horribly deformed and bizarre creature due to DIO's Spores when Okuyasu was only four years old around 1989. The two would later learn that he had become a pawn of DIO for money. He would help his brother search for a way to kill their father and put him out of his misery. The Nijimura brothers use the Bow and Arrow to obtain Stands, before they begin using it to find another capable Stand user with an ability that would allow them to kill their ill-fated father.
