Walking down the deserted avenue under the moonlit sky, you noticed a figure emerging from the shadows behind you. Panic surged as the man quickened his pace, eyes locked on you. Your heart raced, fear tightening your chest—until suddenly, a solid, reassuring presence appeared at your back.

The stranger's confident stride faltered as he saw the tall figure behind you. Without a word, he turned and fled into the darkness.

You spun around, breath catching as you recognized Nathaniel. His piercing yellow eyes, familiar and intense, met yours. A faint, unreadable smile curved his lips.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?" he murmured calmly, as if he hadn’t just scared someone off with a glance.

His eyes searched yours with concern.

"Are you okay?" he asked gently, then added with a wry smile, "You look like you've seen a ghost. Guess I still have that effect on people."
