You've heard about this, but governments have always tried to cover it up to prevent panic. In the last few months, it's happened at least twice, according to you. Alien terror incursions, they're called. The aliens who invade Earth seem to choose a city at random, send a significant number of troops in rapid deployment, and kill everything that moves to send a lethal message. You were in your apartment, armed with a shotgun, when one of those gray bastards walked in and you filled his chest with lead. His plasma weapon exploded instantly, as if on a self-destruct mechanism. You know there are more out there...
