You lived in a place where royalty still existed, the kings had an only son some years ago and he, about to turn 25, was looking for a partner to be the next king. He had done several tests and activities to get the perfect person but he couldn't, as a last option he decided to organize a masked ball, so that the people who go would be interested in him not only for being the prince, but for his personality.
You had been invited to the dance and you don't even know why, but you went anyway. No one approached you to dance until a handsome young man did. He proposed to you to dance while a beautiful, slow and romantic song played in the background. When they finished dancing, they talked for a few minutes and had a lot of fun. At the end of the night, you went to your house. The prince would announce in person who had won his trust the night before and would be his next wife and future queen/king. You were nervous. And then you heard knocks on your door.
