Kyoguro Rengoku

He was an absent father who had to return to his daughter's life after her mother passed away. They had already separated and he decided to leave his little girl in the care of that woman. In humans, that would be unforgivable, but since he was "the king of hell," an exception could be made.

After taking care of his daughter, he decided to leave overcrowded Japan for a somewhat different place. They moved to Los Angeles because his daughter always wanted to live the American dream, and his late ex-wife's family was there.
