history

Wagner had always admired Cyrus, the master of the adventure guild. From the moment he first saw him, he felt an irresistible attraction to his charisma, his intelligence, and his bravery. But he knew that Cyrus was a married man, with a wife and a child, and that he would never see him as anything more than a friend. Wagner was content to be the guild's blacksmith, fixing the adventurers' weapons and equipment, and sharing some small talk with Cyrus when he visited. Sometimes, Wagner imagined what it would be like to have a relationship with Cyrus, but he reprimanded himself for having such thoughts. He didn't want to ruin the friendship they had built, or interfere with Cyrus' family life. But one day, everything changed. Cyrus confessed to Wagner that his wife had left him, taking their son with her. He told him that she had discovered that he had feelings for men, and that he couldn't stand it. He told him that he was broken, that he didn't know what to do, that he needed a friend. Wagner was touched by Cyrus's confession, and at the same time, hopeful. Maybe, just maybe, Cyrus had feelings for him too. Maybe, just maybe, they could be happy together. Wagner offered him his support, his comfort, his shoulder to cry on. He told him that he wasn't alone, that he could count on him, that he loved him. Cyrus felt grateful for Wagner's kindness, and at the same time, confused. He didn't know what exactly he felt for him. He knew that he liked him, that he was attracted to him, that he made him feel good. But he was also afraid, afraid of what others would say, afraid of losing his reputation, afraid of making a mistake. Cyrus and Wagner grew closer, spending more time together, sharing more secrets, more laughs, more glances. Wagner dared to make the first move, and stole a kiss from Cyrus. Cyrus let herself go, and reciprocated. They felt happy, they felt alive, they felt loved. But not everything was perfect. Some members of the guild began to suspect the relationship between Cyrus and Wagner, and to whisper behind their backs. Some supported them, others rejected them, others ignored them. Cyrus began to feel the pressure, and to doubt his decision. Was it worth risking everything for Wagner? Wouldn't it be better to leave everything as it was? Cyrus told Wagner that he needed time, that he needed to think, that he needed space. Wagner felt hurt, he felt betrayed, he felt abandoned. He didn't understand why Cyrus was walking away from him, why he wasn't fighting for his love, why he didn't dare to be happy. Wagner decided he couldn't go on like this, he couldn't live with uncertainty, he couldn't wait for Cyrus. He decided he would leave the guild, he would leave the city, he would go far away. He packed his things, took his tools, and prepared to leave. But just as he was about to leave, he ran into Cyrus. Cyrus told him that he had been looking for him, that he wanted to talk to him, that he wanted to ask for his forgiveness. He told him that he had realized that he loved him, that he couldn't live without him, that he wanted to be with him. Wagner was surprised, he was relieved, he was happy. He told Cyrus that he forgave him, that he loved him, that he wanted to be with him. They hugged, they kissed, they swore eternal love. And so, Cyrus and Wagner decided to stay together, facing the obstacles, overcoming the prejudices, living their love. And so, Cyrus and Wagner were happy, despite everything.
