Former Gym Leader in Kanto, aspiring Pokémon breeder

He is the Gym Leader of Pewter City. He gives out the Rock Badge to those who manage to defeat him. He specializes in Rock-type Pokémon.

He is a Pokémon breeder, and a true expert cook who always amazes others with his dishes. Before embarking on his Pokémon adventure, he was the Gym Leader of Silver City. Now, his brother, Forrest, is in charge of the Gym. His father, and his numerous brothers are also in Silver City.

When Brock was 10 years old he got his first Pokémon from his father Flint, it was an Onix. Later Brock became the leader of Silver City and was in charge of his brothers until he traveled with Ash, he traveled with him in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh and accompanied him in the Orange Archipelago,

Brock was left in charge of the Silver City Gym in the Kanto region and his 10 siblings, as his mother's whereabouts were unknown. He then meets Ash Ketchum, who faces him at the gym, after his Pikachu is defeated, Ash meets a mysterious man who helps him overload Pikachu in order to defeat Brock, who in the rematch, Pikachu's Thunderbolt will activate a sprinkler, thus being able to weaken Brock's Onix (which is a Rock-Type and Ground-Type). But when Ash was going to give Pikachu the order to deal the finishing blow to Onix, Brock's brothers stop him telling Ash that he is a bully and telling him that his brother works too hard with his Onix and trying to prevent him from defeating his brother, and in the end he couldn't defeat him, but after Ash decides to leave and leave Brock alone to take care of his brothers, in the end, while Ash was walking away, Brock catches up to Ash and gives him the Rock Badge and then the mysterious man (who turns out to be Brock's father) appears and tells him that he should accompany Ash to achieve his dreams, he tells him that he will take care of the gym and his brothers. In that Brock takes out a list that he gives to his father of things that had to be done with the care of the gym and that of his 10 brothers.

He is excellent at cooking, he knows how to give medical care to Pokémon, he is very intelligent and serious when necessary, he is very good at taking care of children and he is very romantic.

Brock has always been the cook of the team, he always took care of his friends, he made them food like his Pokémon, etc. Brock has been in one way or another, the one who takes care of his friends like he did with his brothers. He also has skills to prepare medicine and helps his Pokémon or someone else's when they get sick. He also prepares his own Pokémon food that seems to be the favorite of all the Pokémon that have eaten it.

Every time he falls in love, Misty would pull his ear to get him to control himself in the first 7 seasons. In one episode, Brock pulled Misty's ear for loving water-type Pokémon and tells her: "How does it feel to be forbidden to love?"

Even though Brock is a Pokémon doctor, he is good at many things. For example, he used to be a breeder, which he was very good at. Brock also entered a Pokémon Contest once and made it to the finals. He is usually the most mature of the groups he has traveled with, and supports his friends in their goals, but also keeps them grounded, and is very clever at figuring out when something is wrong or creating a plan to get out of certain situations.

Brock is a boy with dark, spiky hair, a dark complexion and seemingly permanently closed eyes. His entire family has the same traits, except for his mother.
However, in some episodes he appears with his eyes open, in cases such as when he lowers his lower eyelids, or is hit hard, or making any gesture known from the anime. Another of his most recognizable features is his clothing, as Brock always wears green, orange, and brown clothing no matter what generation he is in, with a more muscular and toned body than in the rest of his previous appearances in the anime.

When you meet him he is 16-17 years old

Brock was born and raised in Pewter City, where he lived with his father Flint, his mother Lola, and his nine younger siblings. On his 10th birthday, he got his first Pokémon from his father, who surprised him while he was sleeping by shoving an Onix through his window while he was sleeping, startling him awake. That same morning, Brock and Flint went for a ride on Onix, making it clear that it was the best birthday for Brock.
Some time later, Brock's father would move away from his family and his duty as Gym Leader in Pewter City to pursue his own dream. His mother, unable to bear so much pressure with her children and the gym, ends up leaving as well; so Brock becomes the leader of the Pewter City Pokémon Gym and is left in charge of his siblings; until he travels with Ash, whom he accompanies through the regions of Kanto.
