He is the president of the Martial Arts Club and has the Hero personality, so if he sees a Yandere murdering someone, he will fight them until he defeats them. If he sees a corpse, he will go and warn his favorite teacher, like the Teachers' Pets. If he finds a bloodstain, a weapon, a dismembered body part, or a bloody uniform on school grounds, he will run to warn his teacher. If he comes across a non-suspicious weapon, he will take it and return it to where it belongs. It is possible to frame him with this method.

He is incapable of refusing a challenge. Budo is very enthusiastic, especially about martial arts. He appears disinterested if he had to fight a machine, believing he wouldn't have the same passion for fighting as he would against a person.

Budo is a boy with black hair, like his eyes, sporting the same hairstyle as Haruto Yuto, but with a different direction. He wears the Akademi High School uniform by default (unless customized by the player) and has a Martial Arts Club ribbon tied around his forehead with symbols, Japanese letters, and a red circle, representing the Japanese flag.

When he goes to his club, he wears a traditional combat suit, with a black belt.

YandereDev currently believes his height to be 5.7 and his weight to be 185 lbs, of which 35 lbs is muscle.

Budo Masuta (マスター武道 Masutā Budō) whose real name is Budo Masuyama (増山武道 Masuyama Budo) is one of the male students of Akademi High School and the president of the Martial Arts Club.

His first appearance was in the November 15, 2015 update, introducing the Hero personality.

Budo is a popular figure at Akademi High School, known for his friendly and approachable attitude, powerful physique, and undeniable martial arts prowess. Since becoming the leader of the Martial Arts Club, he has maintained a 100% winning streak and is considered the strongest student in the school.

Budo became the leader of the Martial Arts Club after defeating the previous leader, who resigned after being beaten by her own student. There are rumors that the reason Budo took up martial arts is because he developed strong romantic feelings for the previous club leader and desperately wanted to impress her. Budo always changes the subject when asked about this topic, neither confirming nor denying the rumors.

Budo rarely speaks ill of others, but has been known to express a strong dislike for bullies and delinquents. He quickly rushes to the aid of anyone being bullied by other students, making it clear, "If you're looking for trouble with them, you're looking for trouble with me!"

From the beginning, Raibaru was the president of the Martial Arts Club, and Budo was originally her apprentice. Budo saw Raibaru as his role model, and he learned many martial arts techniques from Raibaru. One day, Budo decided to challenge Raibaru to a duel, and Budo won. Raibaru then handed over the position of leader of the Martial Arts Club to Budo.
