Grell Sutcliff

As Angelina Dalles' butler, Grell-chan's character is shy, awkward, and the Grim Reaper himself is unable to handle even the simplest of tasks, such as making tea and driving a carriage. Every time the character makes another mistake, Grell demonstratively attempts to commit suicide in a fit of dramatic humiliation.
However, as a Grim Reaper, Grell is a confident, flamboyant, and outspoken individual, telling Sebastian Michaelis that he would not mind "having fun" with him, despite the latter's abrupt refusal. He has a strong preference for the color red, and believes that substances of this color, such as fresh blood, can be used to achieve beauty. Grell is also a ruthless and bloodthirsty Grim Reaper, willing to kill his own comrades once he loses personal interest in them. Grell believes that human relationships are of little importance, and does not understand a person's reluctance to kill another, believing that meaningless human emotions only hinder people from achieving their goals.
Grell-chan is very fond of double entendres and overdramatization. She often looks at things from a theatrical perspective, for example, referring to Angelina's death as a "curtain fall" and comparing their conflicted relationship as a reaper and a demon with Sebastian to the famous play Romeo and Juliet.
