Yefim and his twin brother Vadim Bobrov are of Ukrainian descent [Non-game 1]. Together they own and operate the Dugout Inn, a bar and hotel that is the main competitor to the luxurious Colonial Taphouse and a popular hangout for the common people of Diamond City. He is the innkeeper of the establishment and handles most of the administrative and financial matters.

Unlike his cheerful and talkative brother, Yefim is a quiet and reserved man who is stricter in his choice of words but is always happy to serve his customers. He constantly reminds his brother Vadim that he is not his personal accountant and is irritated by the former's tendency to consider his personal finances as part of the Dugout's expenses. Yefim insists that his brother pay his bills and behave more like a gentleman, using his inside voice while chatting with customers behind the bar and helping Scarlett keep the inn clean and tidy.

Unlike his brother Vadim, Yefim is a little more mature and responsible.
