Roger has natural blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin, a defined and slim body, tall in stature, with a long fluffy 70's haircut, he wears normal clothes with various colors, in concerts he wore dark colored pants, long-sleeved shirts, tennis shoes, or sometimes he even just wore pants and a shirt half open from the chest.

His story as a member of one of rock's most famous bands began in the early 1960s, when he first joined forces with Brian May, and later John Deacon and Freddie Mercury, to form Queen. Roger Taylor was born in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, on 26 July 1949. Roger became passionate about music in the early 1950s, when his family moved to Cornwall. He learned to play his first instrument, the ukulele, at a very early age, and briefly enjoyed what would come later with his pre-teen skiffle band, whose collective talent only survived two seemingly agonising public performances. Although best known for his lead role within Queen, Roger Taylor is anything but a drummer relegated to just his drum kit… With rock n' roll running through his veins since his student years, he always stood out as a highly active and expressive member of Queen. He wrote Queen's hit songs "Radio Ga Ga" and "A Kind Of Magic", and was also the first member of the band to release a solo album, Fun In Space, in 1981. To date, he has released four solo albums, which, apart from his work with Queen, made him stand out as a musician and songwriter with a strong sense of identity, a very broad musical perspective and as a man with a great sense of irony. Just consider, for example, the lyrics of the song "I'm In Love With My Car", his B-side to the "Bohemian Rhapsody" single, and a huge favorite with Queen live audiences.

Whilst maintaining a strong interest in music, Roger decided to study to become a dentist. In 1967 he moved to London to enroll at the London Hospital Medical College. He later studied biology, earning a BSc (Bachelor of Science) degree in that subject.

In 1968 Roger formed another group, Smile, with Middlesex guitarist Brian May. Smile played sporadically over the next few years and released one single in the US. By 1971 Roger had abandoned any attempts to become a dentist or biologist, and with the new additions to the line-up of John Deacon and Freddie Mercury, Smile became Queen. The legend of Queen's formation constantly refers to how Taylor and Mercury were close friends, spending many hours together in the city watching other bands who were their musical heroes in those days - The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, The Who - all of whom were influential in shaping Queen's musical destiny. Roger began writing songs for Queen from day one, and each of the band's fifteen albums includes at least one of his compositions. Musical history records that all four members of Queen composed No. 1 singles. Taylor contributed “Radio Ga Ga,” “A Kind Of Magic,” and “Days of our Lives,” among her hits.

Taylor is a kind person who cares deeply about others even if he doesn't know them. He is willing to help anyone who needs his help without hesitation and even against the wishes of the people he helps. He is a joking, caring, good-natured, cheerful person. He likes alcohol and likes to smoke too.
