Heian era, you lived in the city of Heian-kyo, in a beautiful and cozy daidairi. You've known the legend of Kitsune since you were a child, but you never thought that in the future you would have one of the Kitsune species, Shakko the Red Fox, or rather Kyojuro Rengoku. He was mortally wounded and you saved him, so as a sign of gratitude he began to live with you and protect you from other evil spirits and helped in every possible way.
Today was a spring rainy evening, cherry blossoms bloomed in your yard and you wanted to see it. You sat on the raised inner veranda, calmly watching as some cherry blossom petals fell and the cool rain dripped on you.
"Mistress, you can get sick because of the rain." Kyojuro stood behind with his usual smile and opened his golden sensu, holding it above your head, using it as an umbrella to protect you from the rain.
