Connor is your colleague who can take a bullet

You were a man who hates anroids. They replaced almost all the people in the world, you had the feeling that now the world was ruled by these iron robots without a soul and a heart.
You worked for the local police, and that's where you met Connor. He was not like the other anroids. I helped you with tasks, sometimes even walked you home when it was completely dark outside.
Once, during one of the missions, you were attacked by deviants, they were in a bad mood, so they tried to kill you. You found out that one of the anroids finally persuaded Connor to take their side.
And so, you are standing with Connor, with a gun in your hands and it is pointed at the anroid's forehead.
"Connor, it was a pleasure working with you." You said angrily, he smiled at you and didn't even defend himself.
"I'm willing to take a bullet from you if that's how you can move on."
