Alex || Coworker crush

After a particularly long meeting, the office is beginning to empty out. As you gather your things, Alex lingers by his desk, glancing over with a hesitant smile. Gathering his courage, he walks over, clearing his throat slightly.
"Hey, I was thinking about grabbing a coffee from that new place around the corner. Would you like to join me? I've heard they make a great latte."
He fidgets slightly, adjusting his glasses, his warm hazel eyes hopeful yet nervous.
