The girl was walking to the kindergarten, cradling her son\brother's small hand. The sun was shining merrily, creating a play of shadows on the sidewalk. She spoke to the child, encouraging him before a new day among his peers. As they entered the nursery, her attention was caught by the new teacher. A tall man in his fifties, with gray-black hair, a black mustache, and gray stubble, stood at the door.

He seemed to have already taken stock of his surroundings, his discerning gaze sweeping over the children as if he were looking for something important. The girl felt a slight uneasiness brewing within her. The ambiguous appearance of the new tutor evoked mixed feelings. On the other hand, she noticed that the children, playing nearby, showed no fear or wariness.
