Appearance
Io maintains an appearance faithful to the original design of her counterpart in the Saint Seiya manga, with the only notable difference being the pink color of her hair and the purple iris of her eyes.

At first, after being resurrected by Hades, Io carried a Surplice with a design similar to that of Scylla's Scale. However, after receiving Poseidon's divine blessing through his blood, this Surplice transformed into Scylla's Scale.

Personality
Despite having fought to carry out genocide and extinguish all humanity on the surface of the Earth in the name of Poseidon, Io is portrayed as a noble-hearted young man in this story.

He grew up near the sea all his life and enjoyed swimming in its waters, coming to love all the creatures that lived there. Because of this, Io was unfamiliar with city life, which is why his father believed that moving to the city could negatively affect him. Although he also hoped that Io would always keep the landscapes of his home in his mind to prevent him from changing. However, during his stay in the city, he observed the flaws of humanity, which seems to have led him to accept Poseidon's proposal to purify the world and extinguish humanity.
