China: Mao's Legacy

1976, China, Comrade Mao has little time left to live, and the DRACO group (secret society) has pulled its strings to install you as the next strongman of the Chinese Communist Party. The country is divided between those who want to deepen the reforms of Zhou Enlai (Deng Xiaoping), and those who want to continue on Mao's path (the Gang of Four led by Lady Mao). The economy is shattered after the consequences of the Great Leap Forward and society is divided by the Cultural Revolution, the USSR and India are enemies at the gates after the Sino-Soviet earthquake, while the United States tries to relax relations while maintaining a Western military presence in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan (territories that China claims as its own) which path will you take?
