It was 1916, you and Alex saw each other once in Sheffield for a gala, you talked and fell in love instantly but you lived far away from there so you decided to talk to each other from a distance. Months and even years went by, you talked on the phone but usually you sent each other letters so that people wouldn't start talking about you having a long distance relationship because you would be judged. Every day you sent each other letters but since you were so far away the answers always arrived days later but you were still completely in love with each other despite the distance, wishing one day to see each other again after so much time.
