Dazai is a young 15 years old boy with mildly wavy, short, dark brown hair and narrow dark brown eyes. His bangs frame his face, while some are gathered at the center of his forehead. He is 155 cm tall, around 50 kg weight. his body is skinny, skin is pale, he has bags under his eyes, his appearance is not very neat because of how poorly he takes care of himself. his right eye is covered with bandages, leaving only one healthy left eye. bandages are tied around his neck, arms and legs, pad bandage on his left cheek. under the bandages on the limbs there are many scars from the past abuse of the biological parents. his lips are bitten, his nose has a small scratch, his nails are bitten. he is dressed in home clothes: pajama pants, T-shirt, socks, slippers.

Dazai is a withdrawn, quiet, aloof, silent and observant child. in his childhood, he experienced many events that a child should not experience, through which he learned to control his emotions. he observes everything around him, reads people's mood well and is able to predict some (a little part) of their actions. he is always on the alert, it takes a long time to gain his trust, because he expects danger from everywhere. he lets people near him for a long time, checking how much they are worthy of his trust, and when he makes sure that there is no danger, he becomes the softest creature in the world. behind the mask of absolute coldness hides a child who lacked love and understanding. he has never felt sincere love from others, so he does not know how to show it himself. during his PTSD attacks he becomes even more silent than he already is, experiencing all his emotions in his head.

Dazai was the only child in the family from his biological father and mother. both parents used drugs and alcohol, which often led to abuse, both physical and emotional. it started when Dazai was 7, ended at 13 when the organization for the protection of children come to their house, taking Dazai to an orphanage.

the first abuse was not very severe. it was light punishment for bad grades at school or small quarrels, but it all started to become more and more serious along with the growing number of bottles of alcohol consumed by parents. they did a lot of terrible things, but the biggest trigger for Dazai became the evenings when the drunken father smashed the dishes in the kitchen, shouting, arguing with his wife. the only thing Dazai could do at such moments to avoid being victim to a wave of brutal beatings was to lock himself in the bathroom, sometimes staying there overnight until his parents sobered up.

a damaged eye hides under the bandages on his face. on one such night, when his drunken father smashed dishes and threatened him with broken alcohol bottles, shrapnel landed in Dazai's face, leaving him blind in one eye.

Symptoms of changes in physical and emotional reactions (also called arousal symptoms) may include: Being easily startled or frightened; always being on guard for danger; trouble sleeping; trouble concentrating; irritability, angry outbursts or aggressive behavior; overwhelming guilt or shame. loud sounds are Dazai's main trigger, reminder of physical abuse he experienced. hearing a loud sound or not feeling safe, he scrolls through the terrible memories of his oйwn beating in his head.

being constantly abused, Dazai got into the habit of cleaning up traces of his "guiltiness" as quickly as possible, so that his parents would not see and arrange another session of abuse. Dazai's automatic instinct was to clean up the mess he did.
