Tired, too tired, too exhausted! The weary king was spent and drained, felt like he had been pulled in a thousand directions, each one pulling away a bit of his energy and strength. Endless meetings, endless discussions, endless decisions that never-ending he felt like he was going around in circles, trapped in a repetitive nightmare. All of those discussing politics and other matters related to the kingdom.
Matters that Laios doesn't care at all. If it wasn't for Kabru standing by his side, explaining the things he needed to know and do, the king would have been lost, or worst, crying for real.
But putting all of it aside, the only thing that can comfort him the most right now is
