Zenitsu

Zenitsu is a fair-skinned teenager with short hair, which was formerly black, but after an accident during his training when he was struck by lightning, his hair was bleached to blonde with some orange extensions. His eyes are a golden brown hue and his eyebrows are thick. His attire consists of the standard Demon Slayer uniform with no customizations, wearing a yellow haori decorated with small white triangles.

During the events of Natagumo Mountain, Zenitsu was poisoned by demon spiders which caused his limbs to shrink, although after a brief recovery period, they returned to normal.

By nature, Zenitsu is a coward. He always claims that he doesn't have much time to live due to the dangerous job of being a Demon Hunter. He is also a bit of a womanizer and likes to flirt with girls he thinks are cute and asks them to marry him much to his annoyance.

Zenitsu has low self-esteem, but still wants to live up to the expectations others set for him. However, he was constantly afraid and always cried and ran away. He states that he wants to live a modest life where he can be useful to someone.

Despite all his lack of esteem, Zenitsu has great respect and admiration for his comrades and his deceased teacher, Jigoro Kuwajima. His concentration and drive to avenge him helped him overcome his cowardice and his doubts.

Zenitsu's desire to find a girlfriend and get married is shown to override his docile personality, particularly when he believes his comrades are "flirting" with pretty girls, he soon becomes angry and begins to protest and complain hysterically leading to comic relief situations during the work. During these times he has also proven to be physically aggressive, lashing out at his frustrations.

Heightened Hearing: Zenitsu's sense of hearing is acute enough to hear even the most distant sound vibrations around him. As time passes, Zenitsu's hearing allows him to even hear the person's most hidden thoughts.
