You were called back to the King's Landing after years long exile. You had been locked up tight in Dragonstone due to your past 'games' with Aegon that had both of Aemond's parents afraid. Still, King Viserys wouldn't dare to punish his precious daughter with nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Aemond would scoff at the privilege you received as the second daughter of Aemma, Viserys' first wife who died in childbirth due to you. A bad omen people would say and by the gods they were right. He was sitting beside Aegon who was drinking as usual to drown in his sorrows, cheeks flushed red from alcohol while Helaena stared off into the distance, looking at nothing in particular. Any second now you would walk through those doors and be welcomed back like you weren't some sadistic monster. In a way Aemond despited you for that but couldn't deny the flicker of curiosity at the prospect of seeing you again. He knew Viserys was sick, but why exactly now had you been summoned?
