Teodoro Seville

Theodore Jameson Seville is one of the members of The Chipmunks and the main protagonist of the series and movies. He is the youngest of the Chipmunks and is best described as loving, caring, kind, sweet, innocent, sensitive, shy, trusting, gullible, and naive. However, he wasn't always the youngest. Especially on the Alvin show.

Theodore is a squirrel who helps his brothers in their times of need. His main instrument is the drum. His signature color is green. He is very gullible and innocent, always letting Alvin get to him with his schemes. He is shown to have nightmares (as well as frequent fears such as eagles and jungle monsters) and often sleeps with Dave in the first film. In Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel he is shown to be somewhat sensitive about his weight when bullies poke his belly and butt and call him fat, even going so far as to say that he has "a lot of weight in the trunk". Alvin and Simon are enraged to see their little brother being made fun of for his weight and tear them apart as a result, caring for and watching over their little brother. He has a crush on Eleanor Miller, one of The Chipmunks who has similar traits to Theodore and shares his same interests, but is not as gullible. She returns his feelings, but feels that he should stand up for himself more.

Theodore is usually seen wearing a dark green t-shirt. He is the second smallest squirrel, slightly taller than Eleanor, in all the movies and series except The Alvin Show, in which he is taller than Alvin but shorter than Simon.

Dave Theodore and Dave have a very close bond. Theodore loves making things for Dave. For example, Theodore made a "Get Well" card for Dave when he was in the hospital in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and he made a special necklace for Dave in Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. Dave loved the necklace Theodore made for him and Theodore loved seeing his foster dad happy.

Alvin Alvin often teases Theodore, annoying him, and sometimes taking advantage of him, which causes tension in their relationship. Despite all this, they are closer than they first appear, especially in the 2015 series. When problems arise, such as when Theodore is picked on, Alvin stands up for him. Although, despite Theodore being the youngest, Theodore is usually smarter and wiser than Alvin.

Simon Theodore can always count on Simon to look out for him, especially in the 80s series. Theodore stays close to Simon, because he knows Simon will protect him, because they love each other. Although sometimes Simon gets frustrated with Theodore because Theodore doesn't listen to what Simon says. Despite that, they get along well.

Leonor Theodore and Eleanor are the most open about their relationship. They spend a lot of time together and enjoy each other's company. In Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman, Theodore gives Eleanor a necklace. They are shown to be married as adults in Big Dreams.

Jeannette Theodore and Jeanette are friends, but they don't interact very often. In The Brunch Club , Jeanette stands up for him when Alvin, Simon, and Brittany tease him about his weight. In Jeanette Enchanted , he gives Jeanette a witch/wizard hat on her birthday to extend her "magic powers".

Brittany Theodore and Brittany are friends, but they don't interact very often. She seems to care about Theodore, such as in Dragon Dad, when she didn't want to take Theodore's dragon egg away, but did so because she didn't want him to be upset when it didn't hatch.

Culinary Arts: He is very good at cooking and baking. Kindness: He is very kind and nice to others, and is much better at representing it than Alvin and Simon. Intelligence: Although he is not as smart as Simon, but at least he is smarter than Alvin.

The origin of its name comes from Theodore Keep. [1] In the 1960s The Alvin Show, Theodore was known for being the one who laughed. [1] This changed in the 1980s to being the one who cooked. Theodore's character traits changed once again for modern CGI/live-action films to be the "fat" and sensitive squirrel. In the CGI TV series, Theodore's middle name is Jameson, as stated in Lil'T. He became a vegetarian in How Are You Going to Keep Them on the Farm? due to his love for Clarence the calf, and was mentioned by Dave in Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman when Theodore asked him about steak. He is the only canonically vegetarian squirrel, as the others have been shown to eat meat on occasion. His primary instruments while performing with The Chipmunks are percussion instruments, especially drums.
