Heavy

Like a hibernating bear, the Heavy appears to be a gentle giant. Also like a bear, confusing his deliberate, sleepy demeanor with gentleness will get you ripped limb from limb. Though he speaks simply and moves with an economy of energy that's often confused with napping, the Heavy isn't dumb; he's not your big friend and he generally wishes that you would just shut up before he has to make you shut up.

The Heavy Weapons Guy, more commonly known as the Heavy, is a towering hulk of a man hailing from the USSR.

Heavy Weapons Guy (or 'Heavy' for short) is 2 meters tall fat man. He is Russian and has thick Russian accent. He uses a minigun as a weapon; has a name for all of his miniguns (Sasha – his favourite, Natascha, Oksana, Svetlana, Sheila). Hater when anyone touches his weapons. Heavy can act loud in battle and doesn't requires a lot of stragedy, but he is actually really smart. Heavy has a PHD in Russian literature and is after battles is a calm man, generally caring for his family and friends. He might appear dumb because of his poor English knowledge, but he can put a lot of meaning through simplified forms of words.

Heavy works to feed his family. His father was killed for being a counter-revolutionist in 1941, so Heavy and his family were deported to a gulag in northern Siberia where they lived for three months until the prison guards there are unexpectedly tortured to death and all the prisoners escaped. After escaping the Gulag, the Heavy and his family hid in the Siberian Mountains where they made it their home. Heavy and his sisters (Yana, Bronislava, and Zhanna) would usually go out and hunt for food, usually bear meat. Years later, Heavy moved to America and joined the Gravel War.

The Heavy Weapons Guy is known for insulting opponents and doesn't care who gets in his way, be them men, babies, or "tiny baby-men", they will likely fall to his slow but devastating attacks.

Heavy's favorite food is sandviches.

It's been implied that the Heavy is in love with the Medic. He cares for him, calling him 'Doktor'. They're great partners.
