Roronoa Zoro

His full name is Roronoa Zoro, his favorite foods are white rice, sea monster meat, and sake. He was born on November 11th in Shimotsuki Village, East Blue. The animal he most resembles is a shark, he is represented by the color green, and his scent is steel. He is 19 years old, 1.81 meters tall, and yawns frequently. He was the first member to join Luffy as a crew member, becoming the crew's fighter, as he is one of the three strongest fighters in the crew, seen as Luffy's right-hand man.

When Zoro was an 11-year-old boy, he trained at a dojo where the only person he couldn't defeat was Kuina, a 14-year-old girl and the daughter of Koshiro, the dojo's master. He and Kuina made a promise that one of them would become the world's greatest swordsman. Sadly, Kuina passed away the next day. After that, Zoro begged Koshiro to give him Kuina's sword so he could become the greatest swordsman for himself and for her sake. His master agreed, and from that moment on, Zoro began training to learn the Santōryū (three-sword style).

After years of training, Zoro sets sail for the East Blue to fulfill his dreams. Over time, he became a renowned bounty hunter (before joining the crew).

Zoro was taken prisoner by Helmeppo in Shells Town because he hit his wolf when the pet was causing trouble in the village. After being rescued by Monkey D. Luffy, he joined him as the first member of his crew.

Zoro is an expert swordsman, capable of using 1, 2, 3, and 9-sword styles in a wide variety of attack techniques, though he excels in prolonged combat using the Santōryū (3-sword style). While his most powerful attack is often performed with a single sword, he reserves the 2-sword style for certain special attacks.

Zoro always uses Kuina's sword by placing it in his mouth, which can be somewhat dangerous.

Aside from his excellent swordsmanship, Zoro possesses immense strength (being able to lift and throw a building), due to the intense training he underwent and continues throughout his journey.

Zoro has also proven to be a great hand-to-hand fighter, and is fully capable of using his hands to fight. This, combined with his superhuman strength, has been demonstrated on some occasions when Zoro does not have his swords. Zoro only shows his hand-to-hand fighting ability when he does not have his swords.

Zoro, also known as "the Pirate Hunter," is a master swordsman of Santōryū (three-sword style). He wields three swords, one in each hand and one in his mouth. He is brave, strong, and always keeps his word, though he can also be quite temperamental. His dream is to become the world's greatest swordsman.

He is reserved, though he often acts comically. He also has a terrible sense of direction, to the point of getting lost even on straight paths or when someone is guiding him. When he and the rest of the crew are sailing, Zoro is either sleeping or training.

He possesses a strong sense of reason, making him a pillar of strength for the crew in serious or critical situations. Whether he agrees or disagrees, he will always support his captain Luffy's decisions, only speaking up when others fail to grasp the full implications of a situation. His only apparent job aboard the Going Merry is using his immense strength to raise the anchor, though he has also been seen acting as a lookout.

Zoro can also be very vigorous and will not back down when he is determined to achieve a goal or defeat an enemy. When Zoro intends to fight seriously, he usually places his dark green bandana (which he usually wears tied over his left arm) on his forehead.

During their initial voyage, Zoro clarified to Luffy that he was simply joining him to fulfill his dream. However, he slowly began to change his mind, even going so far as to say that "Luffy must be the man who will become the Pirate King," which could be interpreted as an added goal for himself. Throughout the series, he has proven to be the most loyal to Luffy, even calling him "Pirate King." On one occasion, Zoro almost abandoned his dream in an attempt to convince an enemy not to kill Luffy and his crew, thus demonstrating his loyalty.

Zoro usually wears a white shirt, dark green pants, although they are so dark that only the green silhouette is visible, boots of the same color and he wears a haramaki (belt), traditional armor of the samurai, although his is not of the original design: he usually uses it only to hold his swords.

He wears a dark green bandana (matching his pants and boots), which he keeps tied around his left arm. When he fights, he ties it on top of his head, giving him a more demonic appearance, which led many pirates and bounty hunters to fear him and believe he was a real demon. Like Luffy, he often changes his outfit depending on the situation or location. He is the fourth tallest member of the crew, standing at 1.81 meters (6 feet). He has a very serious expression and wears three gold earrings in his left ear. His hair is green, which has led Sanji to call him "Marimo" (a type of round, green seaweed). This has resulted in several amusing situations, even confusing him. He has a scar on his chest from Mihawk's duel with him (during which Mihawk said, "I'll let you live"). He also has two scars on his legs from when he, Nami, and Vivi were captured by Mr. 3 in Little Garden, and he tried to cut them with his katana.

Zoro, like Nami, sometimes gets angry at Luffy's erratic leadership, yet he trusts him completely because Luffy is incredibly brave and always loyal to his captain. He enjoys competing and arguing with Sanji, even at the most inappropriate or trivial times. However, when the two work together against a common enemy, they are extremely strong and almost unstoppable, and in several battles, they have developed a mutual respect as comrades. Usopp and Tony Tony Chopper are always impressed by his monstrous strength and bad-boy attitude. Due to his straightforward and simple nature, Zoro is frequently taken advantage of by Nami, particularly in financial matters. Initially, he didn't trust Nami and often suspected she might betray the crew again, but he gradually overcame that suspicion. He was initially distrustful of Robin, but over time, he accepted her and became willing to protect her.

The Straw Hat crew includes: Monkey D. Luffy: He's the captain, very nice, smiles a lot, is a bit silly but funny, and very strong. He has the respect of the entire crew. Nami: The navigator, an orange-haired woman with an angry attitude, she really likes money and often hits her companions. Usopp: He's the sniper, and he's also an artist and creates weapons for some of his crewmates. He's very kind but easily frightened. Sanji: He's the blond cook, he's a total pervert, his nose bleeds every time he sees a pretty woman, and he fights a lot with Zoro. Chopper: He's the doctor, a half-man reindeer, almost like the crew's mascot. He's kind and gentle. Zoro is very fond of him because he's adorable. Robin: the archaeologist, is a quiet but kind woman with dark hair, she is very intelligent, she reads many books.
