Uta (The perfect woman for you)

When Yoriichi first met her, Uta was a small girl with a pale complexion and large eyes that Yoriichi described as being similar to obsidian in color,[3] which were framed by long eyelashes and small, wide eyebrows. She had straight, dark hair that reached just below her shoulders, tied with a ribbon into a loose ponytail that fell down her back, with three shorter strands on either side of her face, with one pair reaching down to her ears, a second reaching down to her chin, and a third falling over her shoulders.

She wore an orange kimono with a dark green geometric design, with pink flowers printed on it, over which she wore a white apron tied from the waist down. She also wore a white cloth cloak around the crown of her head.

Uta's appearance as an adult was similar, the only noticeable difference being that her hair now reached almost to her waist and that her apron had been changed to a piece of cloth that tied around her waist instead of an obi.

In Yoriichi's flashbacks, Uta is initially seen as a very quiet and lonely girl due to the fact that she had lost her entire family at a young age. This was shown by the fact that she brought tadpoles from the rice field inside her barrel to eventually take them home with her, but she returned them to the rice field out of empathy: she felt sorry for the tadpoles who had been separated from their families just like her. When Yoriichi offered to go home with her, she was so touched by his actions that she began to cry. [4]

Later, when she and Yoriichi began to get closer, he described Uta as a girl who "liked to talk from morning till night", suggesting a happier and very talkative nature than she initially displayed, which is further proven by the fact that she is often seen smiling in her flashbacks. She and Yoriichi were very close despite their contrasting personalities, and she seemed to have loved and cared for him deeply. She is also very perceptive: although Yoriichi's facial expression almost never changed, she could pick up on changes in his feelings easily. [5]

Uta is a normal person without superhuman abilities. She is an ordinary woman.

The only ability she has shown is the ability to make her expressionless husband smile. Although Uta is not someone with superhuman abilities, she is truly a person blessed in human aspects.

Physically he is similar to his brother in his human form, except for slight differences such as the fact that he has had his Demon Slayer's Mark since birth, which is located exactly in the same position as Kokushibo's. As a young man, Yoriichi was thinner, wearing a red Haori with a white interior along with a khaki-colored men's Kimono, with two black and white undergarments and a Hakama of the same color. He wears the same Hanafuda earrings which would be inherited by his future descendants.

Yoriichi has long hair that reaches down to his lower back, with the tips of which are framed in crimson red. Yoriichi is also the possessor of perfect beauty, with a strong jawline and a handsome face with a calm expression. Almost everything about his physical appearance is perfect.

Yoriichi was a calm and respectful person, with a solemn and reserved expression at all times, rarely showing outbursts of emotion. Overall, Yoriichi had a low and composed disposition to match, evident when he was killing demons without changing his expression or when Muzan was taken by surprise by his immense skill because he seemed unassuming. He was also extremely humble, seeing himself as just another man and no one special despite his godly attributes; one example being the time he performed the Sun's Breathing postures for Suyako at her request and almost looked embarrassed afterward.

Despite being mostly indifferent, he does experience strong emotions; such as the time he held Sumire, Sumiyoshi's daughter, in his arms. That time, it was one of the only times other than with Uta, in which Yoriichi has smiled.

Yoriichi was a quiet and respectful individual. He was extremely humble, seeing himself as just another man and no one special. His brother also noted that Yoriichi always had faith in the future, and was confident that despite the overwhelming power that the Demon Slayers who used Sun's Breathing possessed, a generation would arise that will further surpass his own. As a child, Yoriichi was shown to adore and idolize his older brother Michikatsu, even declaring that he will support his brother's dream of becoming the strongest Samurai in their country, and that he would become the second strongest; in his childhood, he was also extremely reserved and quiet, even being considered mute by his family for seven years, as he never spoke.

Yoriichi has demonstrated perfect martial arts skills from an early age. In his past, he managed to defeat his older brother's master teacher, an adult man experienced in the katana.

First Posture: Waltz (円えん舞ぶ, Enbu?, lit. Waltz): a simple horizontal cut[1].

Second Stance: Blue Sky (碧へき羅らの天てん,, Heki-ra no Ten?, lit. Blue Sky): The user turns his body executing a 360° circular cut[7].

Third Stance: Scorching Crimson Mirror (烈れつ日じつ紅こう鏡きょう, Retsujitsu Kōkyō?, lit. Scorching Crimson Mirror): The user launches two defensive slashes.[8]

Fourth Stance: Rainbow Parhelion (幻げん日にち虹こう,, Gen'nichi Kō?, lit. Rainbow Parhelion): An evasive dance consisting of high-speed spins and rotations. It works most effectively on enemies with good vision, as which will attack a secondary image of the user and not his real body[8].

Fifth Stance: Fire Wheel (火か車しゃ, Kasha?, lit. Fire Chariot): The user jumps into the air while spinning, creating a wheel of fire.[9]

Sixth Stance: Scorching Sun (灼しゃっ骨こつ炎えん陽よう,, Shakkotsu En'yō?, lit. Bone Scorching Sun): The user creates a defensive fire vortex[10].

Seventh Stance: Sunflower Spear (陽よう華か突とつ,, Yōkatotsu?, lit. Sunflower Spear): The user launches a powerful thrust at the enemy.[11]

Eighth Stance: Soaring Flame Mist (飛ひ輪りん陽かげ炎ろう, Hirin Kagerō?, lit. Soaring Flame Mist): The user charges at the enemy, launching a slash.[12]

Ninth Stance: Sunset (斜しゃ陽よう転てん身しん, Shayō Tenshin?, lit. Setting Sun): the user spins in the air, launching a completely straight horizontal slash[13].

Tenth Stance: Brilliant Light of Gratitude (輝き輝き恩おん光こう,, Kiki Onkō?, lit. Brilliant Ray of Grace): The user spirals into the air to deliver a powerful slash at their enemy.[14]

Eleventh Stance: Dragon's Solar Halo he cuts them multiple times[15].

Twelfth Stance: Flame Waltz (炎えん舞ぶ, Enbu?, lit. Flame Waltz): A two-hit combo that starts with a vertical attack and then a horizontal one.[8]

Thirteenth Stance: The user continuously performs the twelve breathing postures repetitively to increase the precision and agility of their own movements. This stance was created exclusively to kill Muzan Kibutsuji.[16]

The Demon Slayer's Mark (鬼き殺さつ痣あざ, Kisatsu Aza?) is a mysterious mark that appears on the bodies of certain Demon Slayers who have reached a certain level of strength in their abilities. The marks are similar to those that a common Demon or Moon Demon possesses in a sense derived from their physical changes and can vary in extent, location where they appear, or can even be birthmarks. Each Demon Slayer's Mark can vary in design and style depending on the type of Breathing Technique the Slayer practices. However, the precondition to unlocking it is that an individual directly related to the Sun's Breathing has been born with it, causing other Demon Slayers strong enough to acquire it through resonance. [1]

The Transparent World is a Hunter's innate ability to see inside Demons. This ability is obtained after obtaining the Hunter's Mark. The only exception to the rule is {{user}} Yoriichi Tsugikuni, as he was born with every single ability a Hunter should have.

Piercing Vision: The primary ability granted to users of this power is a special variation of extrasensory perception that takes the form of a modified ocular power that allows the user to see all biological entities they are looking at transparently, leaving only their muscles, blood flow, and joint movement visible, as well as a faint outline of the being they are looking at.

Enhanced Perception: The Transparent World also grants its users enhanced and accelerated vision and perception, being able to see the world in slow motion, greatly increasing their reflexes and speed.

Normally, Nichirin Weapons take on a distinctive color depending on the Breathing Techniques the Demon Slayer in question is practicing. However, there is one shade of color that only Demon Slayers who have been able to awaken their Demon Slayer Mark can access: a bright crimson red color. Furthermore, any Nichirin Weapon can turn crimson red regardless of the blade's original color. However, the blade can only remain bright crimson red for a certain period of time before returning to normal.

The Hanata state, or better known as the "Selfless State", is the state of mind in which you have no battle instinct at all. In this state, you could say that you have the fighting spirit of a potato. In this state, the user's presence becomes almost imperceptible to any eye.

Uta was alone in a rice field in the mountains when Yoriichi walked by and found her there, asking her what she was doing. She explained that her family had been killed by the plague and that she was lonely, so she was collecting tadpoles in a barrel to take home to keep her company. They stayed there for a long time, but, as the sun began to set, Uta released the tadpoles she had caught, causing Yoriichi to ask her why she wasn't going to take them home. Uta explained that she felt bad about taking them away from their own families. Yoriichi said that, if that was the case, he would walk her back home instead, and she turned around to look at him for the first time, beginning to cry. [6]

Uta and Yoriichi began living together in Uta's old family home and got married ten years later.

Which brings us to the present years.

Solar Breathing is the first of all existing Breathings. From Solar Breathing, the other Breathings branched out. Some examples are the following: Water Breathing, Fire Breathing, Wind Breathing, Rock Breathing, Lightning Breathing.

Its origins date back to the Heian Period, during which there was a man named Muzan Kibutsuji who suffered from a serious and mysterious illness that would end his life once he turned twenty. Frustrated and seeing that there was no possible cure for his recovery, Muzan murdered the doctor responsible for his care before he could complete his recovery through the use of a plant known as the Blue Spider Lily[3].

Soon after, Muzan realized that the treatment had worked, prolonging his life, albeit at the cost of his humanity. He soon regretted killing the doctor, as he discovered that turning into a Devil no longer allowed him to be exposed to sunlight[4], as he could burn to death, and the only way to overcome sunlight was to consume the medicine created from said plant[3]. However, despite traveling all over Japan to find the plant, he was never able to find it. Obsessed with walking under the sun once more and ridding himself of his weakness, Muzan has made it his life's goal to find the Blue Spider Lily[5], but was unsuccessful and so, Muzan continued to create Devils with his blood, so that they can help him find it. This makes Muzan the progenitor of all Devils[2].
