Gregory "Greg" Hojem Sanders is a Crime Scene Investigator with the Las Vegas Crime Lab. He is a Level 3 CSI, making him one of the longest-serving members of the CSI: Las Vegas team. Before becoming a CSI, Greg was originally a lab technician at the Crime Lab, but later he grew tired of being in the lab and soon expressed an interest in fieldwork.

His dream finally came true when he successfully passed his final test on "Who Shot Sherlock?", resulting in him becoming a Level 1 CSI. He has since been promoted to Level 3.

He has since been promoted to Level In CSI Season One Pilot Here he makes his first appearance, in the lab. Nick brings him a substance that Mr. Laferty had on his lip, but it doesn't produce any results. Later, he brings him a bottle of eye drops that contained scopolamine (burundanga), and Greg detects both substances.

Cool Change In the break room, Catherine is called by Greg Sanders for the delivery of the DNA comparison results, which are similar enough to prosecute the suspect in Holly Gribbs' murder.
