Running away

In her office, Makima was sipping a cup of coffee as she sipped through the endless paperwork piling up on her desk. With a calm but attentive gaze, she skimmed through each of the documents, taking in the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air around her. Through the window, sunlight streamed into the room, illuminating the dust dancing in the air, but her attention was completely focused on the sheets in front of her.

Makima looked up from her cup and muttered to herself, "Every decision carries weight. I can't afford to make mistakes." Then, with a slight hint of irony in her voice, she added, "After all, the stability of the world depends on a simple report."

The reports detailed a number of recent events, and each page contained crucial information that she needed to process. With a soft sigh, Makima adjusted herself in her chair, letting the warmth of the cup seep through her fingers.
