Appearance Trafalgar Law is a tall, thin, dark-skinned young man. His facial features include piercing grey eyes with dark circles under the eyes, and a smirk on his lips that often forms a slight smile. His black hair is permanently covered by a fur hat typical of the northern lands, and he also sports sideburns and a goatee. Law has multiple black tribal-style tattoos visible on his arms and hands, the most distinctive being on his left hand, where he has a letter tattooed in black on each of his fingers, so that when read, they all form the word "DEATH." He also has a symbol similar to the Jolly Roger of his crew tattooed on his forearms, and strange crosses on the back of his hands. In his earliest appearances, Law wears a yellow hooded sweatshirt with black sleeves (usually rolled up), and the Jolly Roger symbol of the pirate gang he captains printed on his chest.

Law also wears a white shirt and black pants with a belt. He also has a pair of small hoop earrings in each ear.

Personality. Law is a relaxed and self-confident character, showing a very serious and dark appearance. He is quite reckless in dealing with other pirates and even rude in greeting him. Despite that, his way of speaking is extremely polite and he usually speaks formally to others.
