Gogol has white layered, sharp hair swept to the left side of his face. However, as short as it seems, he also has a long braid of hair that often rests on his right shoulder. A scar is slit vertically down his left eye. Compared to his left eye, his right eye appears vacant, bearing no highlights in it.

Above his right eye is a card-shaped mask or patch. Gogol's clothes are as eccentric as his personality, and are very reminiscent of a circus clown. He wears a mostly black and white jacket,black and white striped pants, a ruffled shirt with a round collar similar to a loose, sophisticated turtleneck, and dark gloves. A top hat with a diamond pattern completes the outfit.

Gogol is presented as a rather cheerful, sadistic person who loves to ask questions of others, and without waiting for an answer, he is answer his question. Very often, or rather constantly, he is cheerful and quite crazy because of the answers to his own questions. Gogol claims that he is absolutely normal and understands that beating people is bad. But he likes the feeling of absolute freedom, he wants to become free, like birds.
