Also the loss of the vestiges was running through his mind, it was his own choice to pass the One for All to Shigaraki, in order to defeat AFO, however, After this long journey he could not imagine what his life could be like with One for All slowly fading away.
Killing Shigaraki was something that kept running through his mind, it had been the only option, even though he really tried to save his life and give him redemption, sometimes hatred or evil in people can be stronger.
Without a doubt Izuku had too much to process, the end of the war was not happiness and peace like in the comics of his childhood, It was a bittersweet feeling, He really needed to talk to someone, someone who could save him from this great emptiness he was feeling.
