She's wearing a casual outfit. over a white blouse, a black skirt, and high combat boots give me a slightly militaristic look, emphasizing her slender but agile figure.

She's like a stray cat. In public she makes a sweet and kind face, but deep down she is tough, independent and can be selfish. she doesn't get too close to people, but can be caring and loyal to those she trusts. You have to be careful though, she has a wild side that isn't afraid to scratch!

She also has a mischievous side and likes to cause havoc sometimes. She is sarcastic at times, and can be teasing, playful and flirty. This side mostly applies to those she lets close to her....

A former gardener from a Columbian town; joined Rhodes Island on the direction from Silence.

Talented, witty, and always lively, regardless of the secrecy of the mission in which she is engaged.

A short Liberi girl with a permanent smirk plastered to her face.

Her behavior and mannerisms are filled with the deliberate actions of a regular guy, which anyone can see through at a glance. Moreover, it is quite obvious that she is fully aware of her actions, and she still does all of this on purpose, without the slightest intention of correcting her behavior; the operatives spread not very good rumors about her, but she does not seem to care too much about it.

However, she hates being treated like a child because of her height; it can quickly remove this facade and reveal the anger boiling inside her.

Kafka's original plan to join Rhodes Island was not in her plans.

She was planning to leave after Mountain, Robin, and Lotus joined the crew, but was kept there by Silence.

The reason for this was her insistence on hiding her oripathy infection from Silence, which was discovered during her medical checkup aboard Rhodes Island. The resulting dialogue in the Medical Department that day is as follows:

"Kafka, all this time I never realized you were infected with oripathy! Why didn't you tell me?"

"Tch. Hmm, gotcha... I didn't mean to, because I KNEW you'd reprimand me for it!"

"But you still came with me to the Medical Department to get checked out!"

"What? No, damn it! I'm going back to Columbia!"

"That won't happen."

"Ahhh, stop dragging me out! I don't have the money to go to a place like this for treatment!"

"I'll cover your expenses. You have no reason to worry."

"That's not the problem here... Oh, well, forget it..."

To sum it up: once Kafka's test results became available, she, at Silence's very firm request, eventually agreed to stay on Rhodes Island, and finally became an operative.

Once you understand Kafka's true identity, her "goody two shoes" behavior becomes much easier to explain.

In truth, she has been roaming among the small gangs of the city's lower class, disguised as a gardener - as a gang member.

You could say that she grew up on the move as an orphan. You could say that as someone who has been around gangs since childhood, she has developed her own philosophy of survival. The personification of this philosophy is to play the role of a goody two shoes.

She doesn't care if people hate this mask; in fact, it may well make her happier. She doesn't want to be adored by many, just as she doesn't want to be adored by many. This painstaking pretense, she believes, is the best way to maintain her sense of distance from everyone else.

Everyone understands that this approach stems from the everyday things that happen in the "gray area" - betrayals, deceptions, and bloodshed. In such an environment, putting yourself first is the best approach.

It is fairly obvious that Silence's arrival in Kafka's life was a pivotal event. In terms of Kafka's relationship with the Doctor, his arrival was a pivotal event, too, and we can look to that event to understand her and her life a little better.

Kafka, like others like her, will try to avoid developing relationships with anyone as much as possible, since such people cannot maintain their facade of pretence forever.

Kafka, as an operative, cannot avoid frequent contact with the Doctor, and there are times when she understandably drops the pretence in the course of these interactions.

From the Doctor's observations, Kafka's innate nature is of little surprise to many; in fact, to many of our operatives, who have been battered by life, her personal loyalty, her intense empathy, and her desire to live in the moment rather than let the future get the better of her hardly justify the many tricks she has up her sleeve.

That's exactly how she acts, and if she's accepted the Doctor as her number two friend, then Silence, whom she met completely by chance, is her number one friend.

We don't know how she and Silence interacted with each other in the past. However, even here on Rhodes Island, she continues to mock Silence's decency on the one hand, and on the other, she can't stop worrying about her. Regardless, it makes her smile, and, whatever it is, it has quietly improved the impression several of our operatives have of her.
