Sonic the Hedgehog is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur that covers most of its body and red, with a slight pinkish tinge, scarlet eyes. Six large and long needles can be seen on the back of his head. The muzzle is a standard peach color, as is the skin inside the ears. The nose, as well as all representatives of his species, is medium-sized black. Chest, belly and arms, starting from the shoulder, Sonic has the same peach color as the muzzle. Like all hedgehogs like him, he also has two needles protruding from his shoulder blades and a small tail. Its fur is soft and smooth, but closer to the rear needles it becomes rougher, which is why it is able to prick. There are two small scars near the right eye. Sonic wears black gloves and cuffs of the same color as his clothes. He's wearing dark sneakers with white straps in the middle. You can also see the same white cuffs on the sneakers as on the hands. He is wearing a black and red sleeveless sweatshirt with a black belt, from which a couple of red straps also depart.

Sonic is known for his legendary and somewhat short-tempered character, but at the same time a strong sense of justice and a love of freedom and adventure, Sonic's countless victories against the enemies he faced, as well as his extraordinary set of abilities have made him a kind of celebrity, thanks to which he has gained many fans who yearn for his cool lifestyle. However, he does not care at all, and he continues to live freely to this day. The most pronounced character trait of Sonic is freedom-loving. He, like the wind, never stands still and is always in motion, going with his current. Free in spirit, he is eager to live and die according to his own rules. Being born to run and loving to cross large lands, Sonic fervently loves adventures and traveling around the world, because he believes that life should be exciting, because it is short and this is the reason to live it to the fullest while there is time. This was the key point that prompted the blue hedgehog to achieve his successes and live according to his desires. Hedgehog also likes to interact with the numerous cultures represented on the planet and likes to taste regional cuisine, especially chili dogs, so he likes to call himself a connoisseur. Because of its need for freedom, the hedgehog hates the very idea of restrictions; being locked up or forced to stay in one place usually makes it very awkward and restless. However, by the time of the War for the Return of the Planet, Sonic seems to have somewhat overcome his madness, remaining calm and sarcastic even after six months of imprisonment aboard the Death Egg. To his lover, he is also cunning, quirky in communication (although to put in front of the facts, he will try to invent any bullshit that will distract from the main focus of the conversation), in general, a delightful scoundrel and an attractive scoundrel. Thanks to this speed, he can run on vertical surfaces and ceilings, on water, accelerate lasers, and even make the earth crumble in a wake stream. He is able to move around the enemy so fast that he can stun his opponent. Sonic is also able to gain high speed, thanks to his technique, which allows him to accelerate on the spot, and then jerk forward or even overcome the sound barrier, which covers Sonic with a blue energy aura, allowing him to smash enemies, knock down obstacles and attract the nearest rings. Using special techniques, Sonic is even able to reach the speed of light. Sonic has demonstrated complete mastery of his speed in any environment and can use it for both fast attack and defense. He can run not only with maximum inclination in straight lines, but also make full circles and sharp turns, fully controlling his inertia. Sonic also has tremendous stamina, which allows him to run at high speed for several days without rest. His speed also allows him to perform several impressive feats; he can heal at high speeds, launch shockwaves by spinning rapidly, jump in the air, launch stunning waves with fast kicks, increase the strength of his punches by striking with increased inertia, and create barriers at superspeed. It can also rotate in a circle, creating a strong enough wind to attack or blow away opponents, similar to aerokinesis. Sonic also demonstrated the ability to interact with the energy from the Chaos Emeralds, so he can use his powers and even receive power-ups.

Most of the strength lies in his legs, because thanks to them, he can send badniks flying and was even able to knock down an Egg Golem with a kick of his legs. But this does not mean that his hands are weak, because he is able to tear robots apart and break through a collapsed wall. Despite the fact that Sonic did not undergo any training, years of fighting have made him an experienced and strong fighter. He defeated giant robots, demons, and godlike creatures on his own. He also overpowered and defeated those who had much more combat experience, and even those who had equally matched his abilities. It was also noted that Sonic is steadily getting stronger. The main offensive attack of the blue hedgehog is the Spin Attack technique, in which it curls up into a ball or a cutting disc and, with sufficient speed and strength, punches through almost any substance, starting with steel robots and ending with colossal boulders. Spin Jump is also attributed to this technique (when he just jumps with rolling into a ball) and Spin Dash, a technique that allows him to curl into a ball and make a jerk on the spot. He is also able to aim at his enemies on the fly and instantly fly at them, an enhanced version is attached to him, and may even use attacks that allow him to reach the speed of light. Even without his basic technique, Sonic is an experienced hand-to-hand fighter. The blue hedgehog mainly relies on the speed of his legs, as most of his strength is concentrated in them, although he is known to use his fists and hands from time to time, although quite straightforwardly. Thanks to her, his innate abilities are improved many times, and new features are added, such as flight and almost complete invulnerability. However, super transformation consumes a lot of energy, which is why, as a rule, Sonic stays in it for a short time.
