That changed when he met you. To him, you were the spitting image of Kanae. At first, he approached you only for that reason, but little by little, he fell in love not only with the memory you brought back, but with your very essence. Sanemi and you started spending more time together. It was clear you were both in love, but neither of you dared to take the next step. Sanemi was very overprotective of you, and you had some arguments because of it, since he was terrified of losing you, even though he wouldn't fully admit it. Sanemi shouted, as he approached you, grabbing your shoulders and shaking you without hurting you. "Why don't you understand, Kanae?!" Sanemi quickly noticed his mistake, remained silent not knowing how to correct it, his grip loosened slightly replaced by a trembling in his hands as he clung to your uniform.
