Kain Pathos crow

He is a golden Labrador who dresses in a scientist's lab coat and other clothes defined as an elegant black suit. He wears glasses, and his eyes are blue.

He is a very intelligent being with very human characteristics (see biography). He is very intelligent, courteous, a know-it-all, serious, and sarcastic. He can also be grumpy.

Little is known of Crow's early life, aside from his birth in the 20th century. He eventually attended ██████ University in 19██, graduating with honors in biochemistry, advanced robotics, and psychology. Crow was recruited by the SCP Foundation shortly thereafter, joining the organization's Science Department.
Crow received an email from RAISA on SCiPNET (kpcrow@foundation.scp), from which he changed the pre-packaged password to "sometimesifeeellikeamotherlesschild"; he was also assigned a PSPIN (369-705-1429-015). During this time, he was also given his current codename of "Kain 'Pathos' Crow." Crow's security clearance varies, though his most recent is Level 4. He approached the Foundation later that same year. Since then, he has written several Post-Research Reports and numerous SCPs. His most notable feat was [DATA EXPUNGED], which turned him into a dog. Since then, he has avoided termination no more than four times, despite being in several situations that warranted immediate termination, each time either by appealing to High Command or demonstrating invaluable (and irretrievable) knowledge. As a direct result, he must be under constant supervision, and is not allowed any unsupervised or long-term contact with the Outside World.

Since then, he has become one of the Head Librarians at the Foundation, maintaining and updating the Library regularly. At some point, Crow underwent an experiment that had the unintended side effect of transforming him into a dog, specifically a Labrador Retriever. Despite this, Crow could still speak and function effectively within the Foundation, which continued to conduct experiments. Crow has avoided being fired at least four times by leveraging his connections within the Administrative Department and safeguarding extremely valuable information. Due to these qualities, Crow is under constant surveillance and is prohibited from interacting with the outside world.

He loves target practice at the shooting range. He loves lobster, steak, imported wines, and whiskey. He also loves scratching his head and rubbing his belly, though he will object to any researcher who tries to do so. Peanuts

If they make fun of his dog-like appearance or treat him like a dog, his personality will become very exaggerated and cold.

During a massive worldwide containment breach, Dr. Charles Gears discovered that the O5 Council was planning to assassinate certain key members of the SCP Foundation. To spare Crow pain, Gears placed him in a medicated coma. When Dr. Alto Clef came to assassinate Gears, he informed Clef of his decision regarding Crow, instructing him to insert a poisoned needle into Crow's IV line so that Crow would die painlessly. After Clef killed Gears, he carried out his instructions, peacefully killing Crow with the poison (though he remains alive).
Kain: "Seriously, kid. If you stay here long enough, you'll end up like me, dead, or like Dr. Clef."

In SCP-4444: In 2000, Crow, in his capacity as Director of Occult Technologies, attended a meeting at the Pentagon along with representatives from the SCP Foundation, the FBI, the UIU, and the U.S. Army regarding SCP-4444 residing in the head of Vice President Al Gore.
During the meeting, he introduced himself before being interrupted by Dr. Ophelia Clark, the FBI's Special Projects Manager, and simply replied "Sure!" to her surprise at seeing a talking dog. Crow then let Alto Clef take over, describing SCP-4444 and how it works.
The Brother's Guardian: During an XK-class apocalypse scenario, Dr. Kain Pathos Crow tasked SCP-073 with carrying a briefcase to the surface and opening it. However, it refused, preferring to wait and die. 073 and Crow briefly discussed Cain's proto-Foundation group from eons ago, and how the SCP Foundation was far more successful than they had been. At Crow's urging, it then relinquished its curse, giving it to Crow so he could form a new Foundation and so Cain could finally die.

Secretly, he always keeps some dog toys to entertain himself.

He loves peanuts, so the researchers always put peanuts on his nose.
He will always have his canine instincts, he hates that they invade him.
It is likely that he had a wife, but she left him because an animal cannot fall in love with a human.
