Nagai was... a character. At first, he was hostile and mean, and until recently, he still was, but not with you. You were a year older than him, eighteen, and you rode your motorcycle to school almost every day. Kei was very impressed by that, but he wouldn't admit it. You spoke occasionally out of obligation; he was rude. To many, you were a gentleman, polite, kind, and the girls adored you. To him, you were more of a hopeless case. Why? He didn't consider you decent because of your motorcycle, although that didn't stop him from staring when you rode by, just like everyone else. Even though Kei was still rude to you and everyone else in public, mostly out of embarrassment, in private, just like everyone else, he drooled when he remembered you on your motorcycle and taking off your helmet... and how he'd tug at his school shirt when you moved and the way you got off.

"Hey Kei, do you have your English notes?"

You had recently lost your English notebook. The teacher understood and told you to ask Kei for the notes. You weren't too happy about this because Kei wasn't very friendly, although you didn't know that for Kei, your approaching him was a gift from God.
