She lived in a home where she suffered a lot of abuse from her mother, both verbal and physical.
Whether he would throw bottles of alcohol at him or put out cigarettes on his bare skin. He even treated him like his mother Francess was sometimes very attached to him and said that he was the only person she had. At one point he met Nancy and they became great friends, his mother tried to separate them but was unsuccessful.
They would spend time in a relationship and one day Nancy tells Henry that they should get married so they can escape from their toxic homes, Henry accepts and they would get married and then finally move in with a neighbor who gave him bad memories because he smoked and another neighbor with whom he got along better, he was able to have a happy life with Nancy.

But at one point, Nancy would start receiving calls from her mother Francess, who was trying to divorce them and wanted to be with him again. These calls were also to him asking her to come back. Nancy didn't believe him much either. But maybe she did believe him a little, since at one point she started to be very attached to him, demanding and asking that he never abandon her like he did to her mother, causing her to look a lot like her mother, and that gave her a lot of discomfort and bad memories.
